| "CNZR Meets CTrail at Hartford Union Station"
Central New England Railroad's CNE-1 meets a northbound CTrail Hartford Line train at Hartford Union Station. The CNZR engines are sitting on their PanAm interchange track which was once part of the former New York and New England Railroad/ NYNH&H main line.
The Central New England Railroad (CNZR) is a short line railroad that operates over two Connecticut Department of Transportation owned rail lines in Connecticut; the Griffin Industrial Track between Hartford and Windsor, and the Armory Branch Line between South Windsor and the Massachusetts State Line in Enfield. The 8.7 mile long Griffin Industrial Track features one customer, a Home Depot Regional Distribution Center located on the north end of the line in the town of Bloomfield. |
