| "Lite Down the Griffin Industrial"
Central New England Railroad's CNE-1 heads lite down the Griffin Industrial Track in Bloomfield towards Hartford to pick up loads for Home Depot. The "wavy" profile of the line can be seen behind the power.
The Central New England Railroad (CNZR) is a short line railroad that operates over two Connecticut Department of Transportation owned rail lines in Connecticut; the Griffin Industrial Track between Hartford and Windsor, and the Armory Branch Line between South Windsor and the Massachusetts State Line in Enfield. The 8.7 mile long Griffin Industrial Track features one customer, a Home Depot Regional Distribution Center located on the north end of the line in the town of Bloomfield. |
