The 3 Re 446 # 017, # 016 and # 018 of the EDG, which are former Südostbahn locomotives, are running in multiple control from Schwarzenbach via Winterthur-Kloten-Regensdorf-Bözberg to Rheinfelden, in Winterthur Tössmühle. All have a publicity paint scheme: # 017 for the Voralpen-Express "Ein Hauch Sehnsucht..." (a touch of yearning..), # 016 for 25 years Voralpen-Express 1992 to 2017 "Ab in den Süden!" (off to the south!) and # 018 for Akademie St.Gallen "Mehr Wissen garantiert" (more knowledge guaranteed). The 3 locomotives pulled a 2000 ton grain train before from St.Margrethen to Schwarzenbach. The locomotives were built as Re 4/4 IV # 10103, # 10102 and # 10104 for the SBB in 1982 by SLM and BBC with 4960 kW each.
