| The leader of NS 63V here was rebuilt from a former UP SD90MAC by Norfolk Southern in 2017 (ex-UP 3500/ex-UP 8028). After 2+ years of service for Norfolk Southern, the unit was stored in mid-2020 and put up for sale; in February of 2021, it was sold to Progress Rail. If you look closely, you can see an outlawed NS 22V in the extreme distance. The second unit of 63V’s consist is NS 1053 (SD70ACe). |
