After a cold winter night in Ritzville, Washington, conditions were right for everything to be covered with a thick coat of frost on January 23, 2013. An eastbound BNSF grain empty rolls through town over Columbia Street grade crossing with the lowered crossing gates still caked with frost in the morning light.
