| An eastbound stack train with a nice standard cab leader. The conductor can be seen holding his hand up to block the sun as the train emerges into sunlight. Like many other locomotive types on the NS roster, the SD70s are no longer on the active roster at the time of this publication. The leader was retired and sold in February of 2019. The second locomotive (not seen) is NS 2717 (SD70M-2) which was retired and sold in February of 2020. |
