At 7:49 pm (19:49) Amtrak Capitol Corridor train 546 departs the station in Martinez, California, with a diverging clear signal indication. This six-car train, with CDTX F59PHI 2006 shoving on the rear, will shortly be crossing the Benicia Bridge (the largest double-tracked railroad bridge West of the Mississippi River, built in 1930) across Carquinez Strait as it continues its journey from San Jose to Sacramento - the state capitol.
