| One of the huge losses insofar as scenic lines was the Rio Grande route via Tennessee Pass that carried just enough traffic to keep things interesting. I was working as relief agent at Minturn and was probably on my lunch hour and anticipating an eastbound freight for which I had called the crew and helpers, prepared a clearance and then drove west of town to catch as it rolled along the Eagle River approaching the division point. |
