| The privately owned, former french railway SNCF, 2-8-2 "Mikado" 141 R # 1207 (built by the Montreal Locomotive Works Limited in 1946 works number 75016) made a test run with 40 empty Eaos freight cars with a load of about 880 ton from Winterthur freight yard to Romanshorn. Later this year the locomotive was taken out of service for revision, but the project was stopped in the middle of it and the single parts of the locomotive are still stored in Winterthur. |
