| 3 DPZ (doubledeck push-pull train) of the Zürich commuter network (S-Bahn Zürich) with leading Re 450 # 080 are running the S 7 service 18765 from Winterthur via Kloten-Zürich-Meilen to Rapperswil in the afternoon peak hour. In the corona crisis, the trains were deliberately not shortened to allow social distancing, a completely new term in Switzerland. I assume the number of passengers is about 10 to 20 % of "before". SBB says: Coronavirus notice: Switzerland's entire public transport system has been subject to a significant service reduction since Thursday 19 March 2020. Expect cancellations, missed connections and delays on the entire national and international network. Please check the online timetable shortly before starting any journey. |
