It's autumn in the Rocky Mountains, and the annual fall stock rush is in full swing on the D&RGW. Of course, these days the "stock" consists of tourists coming to look at fall colors in the high country, and the RR is now the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. Our simulated stock train is actually part of a 2 day Lerro Productions event. The train is headed back empty along the Los Pinos River, timetable westbound on the climb to Cumbres Pass.
