After getting a fill of water from the Chama Fire Department at the Highway 17 grade crossing at Coxo, Colorado, Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad Rotary OY plow outfit heads upgrade toward the location of the old siding of Coxo on March 1, 2020. The steam-powered rotary plow is being pushed by K-36 Mikado locomotives Nos. 487 and 48 as the train works upgrade on the steep four percent grade up 10,015-foot Cumbres Pass.
