| The full moon high above the Muchetta mountain at the back of the photographer illuminates the freshly fallen snow in the Schmittentobel with its slightly bluish bright light and above there is a wonderful starry sky. The Schmittnerbach seems to be frozen by the long-term exposure of 37 seconds. At 7.04 pm, the Interregio 1164 of the Rhaetian Railway from St.Moritz over the Albula line to Chur draws a warm trail of light over the 35 metre high and 137 metre long Schmittentobel Viaduct, which was built in 1903. The light from the train also illuminates the viaduct and the area behind it. |
