| Snow showers fall on a late Amtrak No. 5, the westbound California Zephyr, as it rolls along the Truckee River making it's approach to Truckee. The first snowfall in quite awhile in the Sierras has fallen overnight and lingers into the afternoon. The snow pack in the Sierras is about half of normal this year. |
