| Into the 1960s, the CNJ operated special trains to Monmouth Park horse track in Oceanport, NJ. Monmouth Park was accessible via a siding off the New Jersey Coast Line that is still in place, but unused. I found information on this operation at http://www.abandonedrails.com/Monmouth_Running_Track
