Remarks & Notes
After they were removed from Springfield-New Haven service due to unreliability, a couple of the Amtrak/Connecticut DOT Budd SPV-2000s worked in commuter service for Metro North on the Waterbury and Danbury branches. This repurposed SPV, bound from Waterbury to Bridgeport, hummed past the Kinneytown Dam on the Naugatuck River north of Ansonia, CT.
