A pair of Kansa City Southern units led by SD70ACe 4156 handles a Seattle bound intermodal through Titlow, just south of Tacoma, WA on the busy BNSF mainline from Portland. This line sees BNSF, UP and Amtrak traffic between Seattle and Portland and just ahead is the single track Pt. Defiance tunnel, a bottleneck that has caused Amtrak to invest in re-routing their trains along I-5 south from Tacoma on a former NP branchline. That has been delayed due to an accident with their debut train, buth they should make the change sometime in 2020.
