| "Allegra" railcar ABe 8/12 # 3508 of the Rhaetian Railway is pulling train R 1633 from St.Moritz to Tirano over the 31 meter long upper bridge over the Ova da Bernina, also called "Wildwestbrücke" (wild west bridge), although it is not a trestle bridge. This part of the line was built new in 1934, because the existing track along the road on the foot of the Lagalb mountain was endangered by avalanches. |
