| Dinner in the diner, but where are the passengers? A few months ago, this car would have been full of passengers eating fresh cooked meals. Thanks to Amtrak's "flexible dining" policy, coach passengers are no longer allowed to eat in the beautiful Viewliner II dining cars and sleeping car passengers are given microwaved airplane style meals. Hopefully Amtrak will return the great foodservice to the rails. |
