Remarks & Notes
The quintessential Vermont winter scene as a Saturday xtra “RDHJ” rounds the elevated curve just south of the village of Arlington on a cold clear afternoon. The crew will swap cars with an 11R crew at Hoosick Junction and return north with a 16R detour train. The partial collapse of Hoosac Tunnel has essentially doubled the tonnage on this line and its former GRMC counterpart into Bellows Falls out of Rutland.
