Winter is my favorite time of year to visit the WSOR up north. Blue skies, fresh snow, cold temperatures and plenty of SD40's...you can't go wrong. Shortly after exiting home rails at Slinger and entering CN Waukesha Sub trackage, T004 (Horicon - Janesville) hustles south through Ackerville with a pair of the aforementioned SD40's. After the nearly 25 mile trip down the CN, they'll again enter home rails at Waukesha.
