As Amtrak train 2154, a high-speed Acela Express, passes through Branford, Connecticut, the Canada Geese (Branta canadensis) in the pond adjacent to the tracks barely take notice. This is Acela trainset number 18, built in 2001 with power car 2023 leading on the northbound run from Washington DC to Boston MA, and power car 2025 trailing. (January 23, 2020)
