| Even during the long summer days of August, the shadows of the Feather River Canyon can quickly cloak the mountains in darkness. Here, BNSF 6821 catches the last few rays of sunlight as it heads up a westbound Swift intermodal train at Rich Bar. This would be the last pocket of sun the train would see until the following morning. |
