Picking up orders. A hot-shot freight, headed up by Tremont & Gulf Mikado #30, sails past depot in Maydelle, TX on its eastbound run as the crew picks up orders on the fly. This is probably my favorite image from the 2019 Lerro Productions Charter on the Texas State Railroad. It features pretty morning light, a beautiful and interesting sky....and almost no elements in the scene to suggest that it's 2019, except perhaps the color and quality of the actual image.
