Remarks & Notes
An eastbound Southern Pacific freight rumbles through a severe afternoon storm at Brandon on July 25, 1996. This location is on the former Missouri Pacific main line across eastern Colorado utilized by Rio Grande when they were granted trackage rights to Kansas City conditional with the UP merger with MP and Western Pacific.
