Remarks & Notes |
Two of the Branford Steam Railroad's three GE 44-Tonners rest on a weekend at the New Haven Trap Rock quarry in North Branford, CT. This 6.2-mile quarry railroad is still very active, now owned by Tilcon. It hauls crushed rock between the quarry and an Amtrak interchange and barge dock in the Pine Orchard section of Branford. |
