Remarks & Notes
Former SBB diesellocomotive Em 831 # 002, now rebuilt as Emf 831 # 002 of the Marti Tunnelbau AG, on a transfer run from Frauenfeld to Frutigen. The locomotive will be used for service in the Lötschberg summit tunnel. The diesel-hydraulic 900 kW locomotive was built in 1992 by Robert Aebi (RACO) for the SBB and has a maximum velocity of 80 km/h. In 2012, all 3 Em 831 were withdrawn by the SBB and sold to the Stauffer company in Frauenfeld. All this locomotives are now in service for the Marti Tunnel AG in the Lötschberg summit tunnel rebuilding project.
