| WP Lives. Deep in the mountains of Northern California, you can still find traces of the Western Pacific Railroad. It has been almost 40 years since the WP ceased operations but much of the railroad infrastructure is unchanged. Here, BNSF 4210 struggles up the steep grades of the Gateway Subdivision as it crosses Highway 89 just south of Canyondam. |
