| On a frigid January morning, eastbound freight RJED with matched pair of blue SD40-2s, thunders out of Hoosick Middle on its run to East Deerfield Yard out of Rotterdam Junction. The days of seeing six axle Pan Am Blue EMDs on the west end are for now but a memory for the most part with the railroad using its large fleet of second hand former CSXT Dash 8 GE's on the RJED/EDRJ today. |
