The snow fighting crew from Pontresina arrived in Alp Grüm at 6.46 AM, with electric snow blower Xrot et # 9218 and dual power electro/diesel locomotive Gem 4/4 # 802, which is delivering electricity for the snow blower. The "Beilhack" snow blower Xrot et # 9218 was scrapped in 2013, replaced by the new "Zaugg" snow blowers Xrot mt # 95403 and # 95404.
