| Commonly called "The Most Beautiful Train In The World,"Southern Pacific's Daylight passenger trains must have been a sight to see skirting the Pacific Ocean along the California coast line. While those days can now only be found in the pages of history books, small glimmers into what that era are still available like SP 4449 - seen here posing in the morning light prior to leading the Cascades Daylight 2017 back for Portland. |
