The 200 foot high smoke plume of a westbound sand train exiting Tunnel 15 on the Moffat Road is dwarfed by Eldorado Mountain. The ex. Denver NorthWestern & Pacific "Moffat Road" uses the east, west and north flanks of of the 8344 foot high mountain to gain elevation for the climb towards the Continental Divide. On the far upper left of the photo a large thunderstorm boils in the afternoon heat of the Great Plains.....
