| Burlington's famous Mikado 4960 was on display in non-operating condition at the Mid-Continent Railroad Muswum in North Freedom, WI back in August 1973. The engine had handled Burlington fan trips along with CBQ Northern 5632, and both handled Zephyrs and other passenger trains in the early 1960s along the Mississippi River during flood season. 5632 was scrapped, and 4960 lived to go to work for the tourist line serving the south rim of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. |
