Remarks & Notes

The days are numbered for Duluth's Bridge Yard, originally owned by Northern Pacific, as Interstate 35 is under construction and will ultimately cover most of the property. However, that is not stopping a young Burlington Northern from putting together a "Grain Box Extra" featuring a former Great Northern F7 and Geep. Most likely this train, once crewed up, will wander across St. Louis Bay to Superior, then head to Saunders where it will connect with the ore line, then head west toward Grand Forks and elevators in North Dakota or Montana.
