| From change of timetable in december, the "Giruno" trains of the SBB will run timetabled between Basel/Zürich and Lugano via the Gotthard Base Tunnel. RABe 501 # 009 was baptised to the name of canton "Zürich" this day. In the dining car was placed an aluminium recast of the crest "Zürich" which carried the Gotthard locomotive Ae 6/6 # 11412 from 1955, which was withdrawn and scapped in 2006. |
