Crossing Leatherbark Run. The former Moore-Keppel Climax #6, now Cass Scenic Railroad #9, hauls her log train across the little bridge on Leatherbark Run, heading up the hill toward Whittaker. Alas, we were not able to take the engine higher on the hill this time. She's currently borrowing the turret from Climax #3, and for that reason, she's limited to 150 psi. That said, she put on a heck of a show at reduced pressure, storming past photographers with a roar that almost rivals the Reading & Northern 425. It will be interesting to see what this engine can do when the railroad finishes fabricating a new turret for this engine. She'll be a favorite on charters for sure.
