| On a brisk October morning in the upper reaches of Echo Canyon, an eastbound intermodal train bound for Chicago rolls under the old US Route 30 overpass at Emory, about to take the upper track when the two mains separate on the east side of this very overpass. The sun is still rising, and the nose is catching the first sunlight of the day. |
