Remarks & Notes
At 9.44 AM an unknown N700 "Shinkansen" high speed train of JR Central in a "Nozomi" service is passing 3776 meter high Fuji volcano in a distance of about 25 kilometers, with 270 km per hour velocity, the highest speed on the Tokaido Shinkansen. The photographer left Tokio in the morning at about 6 AM with a "Kodama" shinkansen, changed to a local train and hiked about half an hour from Higashi-Tagono station to this point of desire. Fuji volcano, highest mountain of Japan, is designated UNESCO World Heritage since july, 2013.
