As Amtrak train 14, the northbound Coast Starlight, departs Vancouver, Washington, the crew of a BNSF local (Y-PVN1211-14) checks for southbound traffic before crossing the mainline to get to their power. BNSF GP38-2 2322 still wears the colors of predecessor Burlington Northern. This engine, formerly BN 2322, was originally Frisco 467, acquired in the 1980 merger of the BN and SLSF.
