Remarks & Notes |
Wished I had appreciated the baby boats on the Santa Fe mainline trains alittle more. Little geeps and baby GE's were common power for the secondary trains at the end of the Santa Fe in the mid-90's. 119 B23-7's were built for the ATSF from 1978-1984 (6300-6418). Kind of cool seeing these little boats trying to hammer across the Transcon main at speed. Here a Kansas City to Chicago freight starts thru Galesburg on the Chillicothe Sub with a alittle bit of everything consist. |
