CSX Q581-18 (Nashville,TN-Atlanta,GA) is now coasting down grade on the Wauhatchie Yard lead, as the inbound crew is almost completed it's day from running south out of Radnor Yard, but picking up, and dropping blocks of cars is the next thing to do before the inbound crew could go off duty. From the "I'm glad I shot this" collection It's hard to believe that at one point an SD50 was a common sight on CSX, being that most of the 8500, and 8600 series were retired due to the PSR practice. Also a cold reality is that Q581 no longer terminate at the once bust Tilford Yard in Atlanta, GA. The freight has been rerouted to Hamlet, NC as a terminating point. It was a different time at CSX, and boy I sure miss those days.
