| Honorable mention at NJ Transit's "Family Day" event goes to CNJ 1524. This unit was brought in from the URHS storage facility in Boonton to be displayed among the three new heritage units unveiled that day. The unit is coupled to the "Pennsylvania Railroad" unit, NJTR 4636. CNJ 1524 was built in 1952 and served both CNJ and NJ DOT/NJ Transit well until its retirement in 1993. |
