Remarks & Notes
This quad-voltage locomotive belongs to a series of 10 that were built by Alsthom, first in 1964 (6 units) and again in 1969-70 (4 units). They were used on passenger services only, mostly on the TEE crack trains and other fast trains between Paris Brussels and Amsterdam. They were retired between 1992 and 1996. 3 of them are preserved. The MFPN Association (Matériel Ferroviaire Patrimoine National) takes care of the 40110. The French CC 40100 are very similar to their 6 Belgian sisters 1801-1806 built in 1973-74.
