Rio Grande’s first EMD SD40T-2 “Tunnel Motor,” No. 5341, leads Union Pacific’s MDVRO manifest freight westbound just west of Rollinsville, Colorado, on September 22, 1998. Trailing No. 5341 is Southern Pacific SD40T-2 No. 8274, Union Pacific SD40-2 No. 3694 and UP GE AC4400CW No. 6863.
