| Golden fall colors. View to Alp Grüm and the astonishing line layout of the Bernina railway of the RhB from the opposite mountain slope. The line, most in grades of 7.0 %, coming from the Bernina pass is going through the 264 meter long avalanche protecting gallery "Grüm" to Alp Grüm station (large stone buiding in the middle of the picture), then further down through the Palü Sopra and Palü Sotto galleries towards the Stablini tunnel (lower right corner). Regional train 1637 with an "Allegra" ABe 8/12 trainset is rolling down towards Stablini crossing station. |
