Tennessee Division's NS T41 "Calhoun Turn" is coasting down grade on the main arriving at it's destination to drop off the inbound cars that was switched out in Calhoun, and Cleveland, TN. From the "I'm glad I shot this" collection, the train was being led by a B32-8, and d-rated B40-8 that has pretty much seen better days on the system. When this photo was shot, NS had a total of 44 of these 4 axles GE motors, that was re-classed into the 500 series. the C32-8 was on their last years, as later on NS had retired all of those series. T41 was another one of this loacl job that bit the dust as well, years after this T41 was abolished, and was replaced with road freight NS 300, and 303. it was a different time on Norfolk Southern.
