Remarks & Notes
The "Real" Thomas. At the Strasburg Rail Road on Sunday, September 15, 2019, extra “A Day Out With Thomas” trains made short turns to Ebenshade Road in between the hourly runs to Leaman Place. One of seven "Thomas" engines in the United States that are used for events, this unit was originally Brooklyn Eastern District Terminal #15, and is the only one that is an actual steam engine. While many 'serious' railfans scorn the idea of these events, it has brought interest in the railroad to another generation.

Pennsylvania is home to the famous Strasburg Railroad and several other lines that use steam power.
