Remarks & Notes
Paquita was built in the 1930's at the railroad's own Guadalupe shops near Lima. It is still in operation today. It was named Paquita to honor the wife of the then Peruvian President Oscar Benavides. Her real first name was Francisca (Francisca Benavides Diez Canseco) but she was affectionately called Paquita by her close relatives.
