A Penn Central GP40 joins a New Haven Century 425 and two NH U25B's in this power set making a move into the service tracks at Dover Street Yard in South Boston. Fifty years later freight activity here is long gone, much of the former coach yard at upper right is used by the MBTA for Red Line subway car layup, and most of the foreground trackage is gone, as is Broadway Tower, seen at upper left.
