| Cogwheel steamlocomotive HG 4/4 # 704 of the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke on the turntable of Gletsch. This 800 horsepower 0-8-0 T was built by the SLM Winterthur in 1923 and delivered in 1924 to Indochina, ordered by the french colonial authority. In 1990 the locomotive was brought back to Switzerland more or less as scrap. Since this year she is operational like new for the Dampfbahn Furka Bergstrecke. |
